Prescriptions & Renewals
* Please be aware as of January 1, 2010 there will be no refills called in after business hours. We ask that any refills needed are requested at the time of service. If you need a prescription refill please contact your pharmacy and the request will be faxed to our office. It will take up to 48 hours from the time we receive the request for a response. If you need a medication change or have a general question you may call (229)435-0525.
All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be requested between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. For you protection, evening and weekend renewals will not be accepted because the doctor must have your chart to renew your medication
Requests for prescriptions or refills can be called in any time to our medication line (229) 435-0525 ext. 213. Please leave your name, date of birth, type of medication, which pharmacy you use, and a phone number at which you may be reached. The Medication Line records your request 24 hours a day, but we only fill requests during regular office hours, Monday through Friday. |
